1 cup warm Water
1 package Dry Active Yeast
2 3/4 cups Bread Flour
2 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon Salt
2 tablespoon Baking Soda
2 teaspoon coarse Salt
Dissolve dry active yeast in warm water and set aside for 10 minutes .
Add 2 tbsp of oil , salt , sugar and mix together.
Then add flour and mix .
knead on floured board for 15 minutes .
Place dough ball into lightly oiled bowl and cover letting it sit till it doubles in size .
Divide dough into 14 even pieces roll into balls and let rest for 15 minutes.
Roll out each piece until about 16 inches long and then shape into pretzel .
Then let rise for another 30 minutes.
Add 2 tablespoons baking soda to a large pot of water and boil each pretzel for 1
minute each side of the pretzel.
Place pretzels on greased baking pan and brush lightly with egg white and sprinkle
with coarse salt .
Bake in 400 degree oven till golden brown about 10 minutes.
